How can I measure the bore diameter of my L.C. Smith shotgun?

A number of barrel micrometers are available, including the Skeet’s Shotgun Bore Gauge Item No. 843-200-126  from Brownells. The tool is easy to use, but be sure the bore is clean and re-zero with the 0.700 ring every time you take a measurement.
